VERDIGRIS - KINETIC

VERDIGRIS is the color of the patina covering copper surfaces. Its noble green, interspersed with gray spots, recalls the salt blown by the ocean wind on the roofs of Mediterranean houses. Here, the classic citrus freshness has only been given a supporting role - where the proud Italian lemons and oranges are usually the center of attention, here they are only a discreet background. VERDIGRIS deconstructs classic chypre and brilliantly reassembles its traditional elements. The silky bouquet of flowers - freesia, rose and mignonette - is studded with spicy notes of nutmeg and coriander. Against their background, the wet and shimmering calone is transparent, almost white. Not sweet, but appetizing. Expressive, but not overtly woody. Ethereal, yet resonant.
